"What's your road, man? - Holyboy road, madman road, rainbow road, guppy road, any road. It's an anywhere road for anybody anyhow." - On the Road
I choose the road less traveled. I choose to live boldly and freely, and most importantly, without regret.
...
I choose to live my life by the philosphy of the iconoclastic intellectuals.
The time of drifter rock and front porch blues.
"Digging bop and talking strange...24 hours of drinking coffee and playing record after record."
When rebels and hipsters rose up and broke convention, and traveled the American dirt roads with intense conviction to feel the essence of life.
They stood boldly against constriction and left behind a blazing warpath of intellectual freedom. And though it was short-lived, what they left behind was momentous.
The hepcats who never backed down.
The 'Angels of the American Underground'.
The Beat Generation.
...
"Follow your inner moonlight; don't hide the madness." -Allen Ginsberg
And in the end, we're all just revivals of a greater past.
But I'd rather stand alone with the freaks than stand in line with the fools.

I never saw this movie with Kristen Stewart! Sometimes I think it's better to travel on the road less traveled, you discover more.
Hi Bessie :)

I salute and embrace your philosophy Tammy, I like mostly anything that defies conformity. If you feel like running wild...just do it whatever others might say...
We'll all run wild together, Petronela.
Thank you for visiting.

Wonderful post Tammy..I love the visuals that you have picked and I am looking forward to seeing this movie. I like the fact that you are prepared to stand out as an individual rather than being a sheep and blending with the crowd. Your Mum must be very proud of you.
I hope you never lose your spirit!!
Thank you for stopping by, Reeni!!
Oh my gosh, I love this book so much! In fact, I'm a little unsure about seeing the film because I don't want it to ruin the conception I have in my mind....the trailer looks amazing thought and I am a big fan of Kristen Stewart and Garret Hedlund.
Anyway, thank you for your kind comment. Please do come again soon.
